  3. UULite simplifies uuencoding by breaking up files for you automatically based on the
  4. encoded line count.  Posting a file with more than 1000 lines on Usenet will likely result
  5. in many sites receiving the files truncated at 1000 lines.  For this reason, UULite is
  6. capable of splitting up files for you during encoding.  This feature is configurable in
  7. "Encoding Preferences."

  9. When encoding, you will be given an opportunity to enter a description of the file.  This
  10. helps other Usenet users decide if they want to download your file.  Adding this description
  11. is considered good network etiquite.  Not adding one often results in a mailbox full of
  12. unusually nasty complaints.
